Who We Are
Kris is an experienced Architectural Technologist with over 25 years of experience in architectural design and documentation. Kris is a Licensed Building Practitioner, area of practice Design 2.
Kris is formally trained in creative design, engineering design principles, and building services as a qualified Architectural Technologist from Ontario, Canada. A former member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians & Technologists (OACETT).
Kris takes a technically minded and creatively pragmatic approach to architectural design, considering the structure and building services early on in the concept phase to deliver a well-thought-out and cost-effective outcome.

Architecture ignited my affection for the unbuilt, while kindling a passion for bespoke living spaces that tell a visual story. In working directly with clients, I seek to develop partnerships to deliver strategic and emotionally-resonant creative design that also successfully achieves the built goals.
With experience in architecture and design, property risk and management within commercial and residential development, I am a true jack-of-all-trades. I have worked with both large and small clients and collaborated with building companies of all sizes.
I utilise my independent decision-making skills and sound judgment to positively impact the building process. I also am an encouraging manager and analytical problem-solver with talents for team building, leading and motivation. I have excellent customer relations aptitude and relationship-building skills.
I've worked with a wide range of delightful people along the way: many individual home owners and property developers, ANZ and ASB Banks, Auckland District Health Board, Reserve Bank of NZ, NZ Police, James Hardie, Winstones, Hamilton City Council, CBRE, Bunnings NZ and more.
